You’ve come to the right place.  Located in the heart of Richmond, Nelson the Oxford Court Motel is just a short drive away from Nelson city and is surrounded by many of the Tasman’s scenic attractions to give you a perfect escape.


Nelson has New Zealand's sunniest climate and is the geographical center of the country. It has a real laid back and new agey feel to it and this is borne out by the fact that there are more than 350 full-time artists and craftspeople active throughout the Nelson region. These include World renowned glass-blowers, ceramic artists, sculptors, painters, designers, woodworkers, jewelers and textile artists... With its proximity to a wealth of natural attractions as well, Nelson is a fantastic place to base yourself and recharge your batteries whilst you relax in its idyllic surroundings

We have 2 of these rooms available, both fully self-catered units • These units have 1 queen bed and 2 single beds • Lounge has 1 couch and 2 leather chairs.

Queen Double Rooms  

* Please note: Our Queen and King rooms where available come with convertible couches   to allow an increase of guest in room. All rooms have shower, bathroom and cooking areas.

We have 5 of these units and 1 Disabled unit all fully self-catered • Complete with 1 x King bed and 2 Singles (*Disabled has 1 single in lounge) • Disabled room has access shower and spa.
